Yoga teaches us to be more mindful, and we can all use that. Our newest esthetician and yoga certified instructor, Tamar will lead us in this relaxing class and show you a daily routine you can do at home at Muse Yoga on West Jefferson. Stretching and yoga are an important practice as we age. Balance (balancing involves both our body and our brain), flexibility (yoga CREATES flexibility) lengthen the spine, downward dog dramatically reduces the chance of fractures as we age, we build slow and steady strength with yoga, and breath, yoga increases our lung capacity.
Class fee: The yoga class is a peanut butter donation class for the Idaho Humane Society (IHS). The IHS uses peanut butter in kong toys to keep the dogs busy while waiting for their forever home. The IHS also uses peanut butter for bath time, they smear it on the walls and us humans think "gross" but the dogs love it! It's a great distraction for doggie bath time! Bring one jar to get in the class, bring two jars for a high five. Bring three jars and enter to win a secret prize!
