We all know we should eat more plants for our health and for the environment, but with the holidays coming what does that look like in terms of food? We’re hosting a holiday tasting event on November 16th at 6 p.m. with plant-based chef Michelle Russell to show you how tasty it can be. The tasting will include a plant-based holiday roast, stuffing, mash potatoes, mushroom gravy, kale salad, and pumpkin cheesecake and other decadent desserts.
Michelle specializes in “Imposter” dishes meant to help people transition to healthier choices and personalized cleanses for Epstein Barr virus and Auto Immune Disorders.
Michelle is the consulting chef at VIVA, Boise’s newest plant-based restaurant. Together with her husband, she owns the wellness company, The Kula Connection. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Education and completed her culinary training in Europe. She also received her yoga certification in India.
